Caya Costa State Park

Just north of Captiva/North Captiva Islands in Lee County Florida lays a 9 mile stretch of beach and wilderness that is only accessible by private boat or a ferry that sets out from a handful of locations. Beach Buddy Tours frequents this pristine State Park to provide our guests with a unique and memorable experience.  This barrier Island is a virtual paradise and covers 2,426 acres. On island there are mangroves, oak and pine trees and nature trails that allow for exploring Florida in it's natural state.  There is an Amphitheater and overnight stays are allowed in primitive cabins or in tents. There is a rich bounty of birds and wildlife that call Caya Costa home.  You can find Manatee's and Dolphins in the crystal clear waters of it's shores as well as go shelling for rare sea treasures as Caya Costa is one of the richest shelling destination you can find. Call us to book your private excursion today! Carolyn Simoneau Beach Buddy Tours 239-8

John practices playing the drums to numerous songs. Jimmy Buffet was born 12-25-1946 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Jimmy Buffet is one of the post prolific songwriters of our time, Jimmy Buffet has written and collaborated on hundreds of songs. As I write this, I asked Capt. John what was his favorite Jimmy Buffet song... He could not select just one and I can see why.  The songs he has been practicing the drums to are some of his less commercial offerings like: Tire Swing, Migration and Miss You So Badly   The joke around the house right now is from the song "Boat Drinks" as I thought the lyrics said "Cold Drinks" but it's "Boat Drinks" , for those keeping score that's one for the Capt. and 0
